Thomas B. Meier joined Jumeirah Group as Chief Operating Officer in October 2021 and is currently the interim Chief Executive Officer. Having studied at the Ecole Hotelière de Lausanne, Thomas started his career in general hotel management roles in Asia and rose through the ranks to lead operations for Raffles globally.
Frederic Chardot joined Jumeirah as Chief Human Resources Officer in 2024 providing strategic counsel for the Group’s human capital programmes and policies.
Holding a master’s degree in Business Management with a specialisation in Human Resources from École Supérieure de Commerce de Marseille (Kedge Business School), Frederic also brings over two decades of HR expertise in the luxury, retail, and business sectors.
As Chief Commercial Officer, Alex is responsible for executing the group’s cohesive commercial strategy to enable Jumeirah’s portfolio of businesses to grow revenues, profits and market share.
David Weir was appointed as General Counsel for Jumeirah Group in November 2018. David brings over 13 years of experience handling a wide range of complex international hospitality, real estate and development projects in both top tier law firms and the hospitality industry, including US firm Jones Day, and most recently Movenpick Hotels and Resorts.
Michael Grieve joins Jumeirah as Chief Brand Officer, tasked with spearheading the brand's evolution as part of its Mission 2030 strategy. With a distinguished career spanning prominent international brands such as BMW, Adidas, Nike, and most recently Gucci, Grieve brings over 16 years of expertise in Brand Management and Marketing.
