Omar El Ajmihead

Chef Omar, who hails from the picturesque town of Vicenza, Italy, has a deep-rooted passion for the art of cooking and flavour exploration. His culinary journey began at the age of 15, within the cozy ambiance of a family-owned restaurant, which ignited his love for the world of flavours. After formal culinary education, Chef Omar honed his skills by venturing across diverse culinary landscapes in Europe. In 2017, he made his move to the UAE where he took up various roles across award-winning venues such as Il Boro Tuscan Bistro, Cavalli Club, Nammos and EVA Beach Club, before joining Jumeirah Group in 2023. In his role as Head Chef of Trattoria, he is dedicated to continuing to elevate Trattoria’s offering and growing the restaurant’s reputation with his rich culinary expertise, creativity, attention to detail, flair for excellence and a commitment to continuing to learn.
